This place is very congested and over crowded especially during the lunch hours . But no time to have a look at the ambience, feel relaxed and have food .Food is rich in fat as they add ghee to most of the food items served and also pour ghee on hot white rice to have it along with gun powder ( podi ). The chutneys tasted typical andhra flavour . Pappu was delicious and I ended up filling the extra rooms too in my stomach . I think Andhra food is the comfort food of India. Very high in fat, carbohydrate and spice level but every mouthful tastes so good. I've been to Nagarjuna twice (first one was on Double Road) and I haven't been disappointed. This is one of those restaurants you'd want to bring your out-of-town (or country) friends for dinner. A great local Indian restaurant if you are looking to try some spicy southern food served on a banana leaf. My friends tried the vegetarian thali but I went with the mutton biryani, pepper chicken, and hyderabad chicken.
