VST Mobility selects HERE as mapping and location services provider as it expands globally
VST Mobility, an innovative global supplier for IOT based mobility solutions for intelligent transport systems has chosen HERE Technologies to power its latest product Eclipse.
VST Mobility, a leading end to end telematics platform provider utilizing both hardware devices and software to provide IOT based mobility solutions for intelligent transport systems, has selected HERE as its mapping and location services provider to support the company’s latest product launch - Eclipse.
VST Mobility has developed Eclipse, a vehicle tracking unit that is an advance GPS and GPRS terminal with embedded eSIM and IRNSS chipset for effective fleet management. The company is now integrating the HERE Location Services suite into its platform, to power its various hardware and solutions, addressing the various market requirements within the intelligent transport management system.

Supported by HERE Location Services, VST Mobility targets several benefits, including:

- Improved driver safety by integrating real time tracking data with speed limits to determine driver behavior
- Improved post-trip analytics
HERE is also well-placed to support VST Mobility as it expands its business out from India. With this joint partnership, HERE and VST Mobility are looking forward to building offerings that will address the needs for the Transport and Logistics industry, specifically around Smart Transportation solutions, Fleet Management and Smart Mobile solutions, powered by HERE Location Services. VST Mobility will leverage HERE APIs and their partner network while HERE will have access to VST’s unique IOT applications.
