With the goal of supporting the cars of tomorrow, HERE and Mobileye are combining their respective autonomous driving technologies to form a powerful offering for automakers.
The collaboration will see Mobileye’s Roadbook™ integrated with HERE HD Live Map, which will enrich camera-based ADAS systems with contextual awareness for more reliable, safer autonomous driving. In addition, HERE will leverage raw sensor data from vehicles equipped with Mobileye’s REM technology, ensuring HD Live Map can self-heal quickly with the most accurate insights. Both companies will utilize the HERE Open Location Platform for data processing and dynamic maintenance.
The strategic partnership was announced in late 2016. HERE and Mobileye will explore further opportunities that support carmakers on their journey towards autonomous driving.
